This position will work as part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) providing 24x7x365 monitoring and operational support. The NOC team provides management of incidents through 2nd and 3rd level support, and performs Operational functions. The Operations Technical Engineer team members assist in the implementation of operational processes and procedures and ensure compliance. This position is responsible for keeping current on all new satellite systems and operations-related technologies in order to provide effective support for the environment.
The Operations Technical Engineer is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted service through event identification and problem resolution. This position requires strong knowledge of processing and operating systems which enables them to work at the highest level of all operational functions. This position will be able to handle complex problems and will confer with Network, system and RF engineers as necessary to resolve an incident.

Skills:
- Technical degree in telecommunications.
- Knowledge of Satellites technology and RF Transmissions.
- Hardware Hands-on, Installation, Start-up, Troubleshooting, Up-grade of equipments.
- Italian and English language.
- Willingness to work outside normal working hours.
Job Description:
The RF Technician will be working under the supervision of the RF Manager and will perform the following tasks.
- Provide technical support in implementing maintaining and troubleshooting existing equipments.
- Provide technical support for new equipments to be installed on site.
- Ensure reliability of equipments and services through various means of monitoring and control systems
- Operate all RF microwave equipments and all related device.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly scheduled (maintenance) tasks and perform necessary interventions.
- Identify problems to be investigated if necessary.
- Provide logging of all troubles and keep inventory of equipments and equipments faults.
- Available for working outside normal daily activities.
- Insure readiness on a 24/7 basis in roster with RF engineer.
- Support the monitoring of the status and performance of E/S housed in remote teleports.
