Trains - Internet services on trains falls within the growth plans laid down by the EU, and these have already undergone a number of significant applicational tests in Europe. Combining broadband and speed is, however, a technological challenge requiring sophisticated solutions because of the mechanical properties of the train itself, the extremely heterogeneous nature of the routes taken by the railway and the transmission solutions to be adopted.

Planes - The service supplied by ViaSat and Skylogic, called D-Star aero, provides business aviation passengers with office-in-the-sky communications, including access to e-mail, the Internet, voice over IP (VOIP), fax over IP (FOIP) and corporate intranets. On-board access to users through laptops is provided via a Wi-Fi hot spot installed inside the aircraft. Full service can work during taxi, take-off, flight and landing.
