The ViaSat LinkStarS2 system is a two-way, bandwidth-on-demand broadband VSAT system designed around the DVB-RCS standard.
LinkstarS2 brings ahead to the latest DVB technology standard ViaSat two-way broadband satellite communication system.

A LinkStarS2 terminal can operate in either DVB-S or DVB-S2 over-the-air downloadable software personalities. Linkstar bandwidth management software includes an extensive list of return link access schemes designed to optimize system performance.

Committed Information Rate (CIR) scheme provides users with near-instantaneous availability and combined with the LinkStarS2 system's advanced application-triggered CIR feature is, for example, a good choice for applications like VoIP and videoconferencing services.

The highly scalable and flexible broadband Hub has been designed to support multiple outroutes (multiple network) each one with single or multiple inroutes within a single Hub Chassis.
